Ethnic Music

Program book for Norwegian Singing and cultural festival. Thirteen Norwegian musical groups from Washington, Oregon, California and Idaho were represented. Norway Day featured the landing of a Viking ship, a large parade representing a thousand years of Norwegian history, and the unveiling of a bust of the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg that graces the University campus today.

The Swedish festival began at the AYPE and continued with tours and concerts around  Puget Sound. The Swedes had a building on the grounds as well.
